China Link Scholarship for 2025 at Central South University (Fully Funded)

 

Time for Applications 

Between now and May 20, 2025.

  Program Languages, Majors, and Supporting Categories Master's and doctoral students are examples of supporting students.


 Computer Science and Technology, Control Science and Engineering, Traffic and Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Resources, and Geological Engineering are the majors and languages of the program. 


These are programs taught in Chinese and English. Students from Afghanistan, Indonesia, Turkmenistan, Morocco, Zambia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Yemen, Ethiopia, and Turkmenistan.


 Scholarship Assistance Medical insurance, on-campus housing, and monthly living allowances (CNY 3000 for master's students and CNY 3500 for doctoral students) are all included in the full scholarship.  Conditions for Applying:


1.  Excellent non-Chinese graduates who have performed well in school, are in good health, and do not have a criminal record.


 2.  less than 40 years old for doctoral studies and less than 35 years old for master's studies. 


3.  not have received any funding from any organizations or institutions (a statement is required). 


4.  Language Qualification: Candidates for programs taught by Chinese should submit a HSK level 4 score of 260 or higher. The one-year Chinese language preparation is open to applicants with a HSK Level 4 score of 180 or higher but below 260.


 Program applicants who are taught English must have a minimum IELTS score of 6 or TOEFL score of 85. 



 b.  Academic Diploma or Certificate Doctoral degree The applicant is required to provide notarized copies of their bachelor's and master's degrees. Please supply the pre-graduate certificate if the applicant is in their final year of the current degree program.


 c.  Transcripts of academic work (from the undergraduate program onward). For undergraduate, graduate, and, if applicable, doctoral programs, copies of academic records from the first to last semester are required. The academic affairs office, graduate school, or student management department of the attending university is responsible for issuing and sealing these transcripts. They can be in Chinese or English, but if they are in a language other than English, they must be accompanied by notarized English translations. 


d.  Certificates of proficiency in a language Valid HSK reports in accordance with the corresponding Chinese proficiency requirements are required of applicants for programs taught by Chinese. Valid IELTS or TOEFL scores must be provided by applicants for English-taught programs.


e.  Proposal for a study. A study plan, such as CSU Study Plan.docx) written in Chinese or English shall contain more than 1,000 characters or words; Please specify the previous research background, research achievements, prospective research field, research plan, etc.  The applicant's supervisor at CSU must sign the doctoral student's proposal.


 f.  Letter of Acceptance; (Mandatory; see Acceptance Letter.docx for format); Contact information: CSU Profs. contact.pdf. 


g.  Form for a foreigner's physical examination and copies of the results of blood tests All of the tests listed in the Physical Examination Record.pdf must be taken by the applicant. If there is no photo, no completed examinations, no stamp, or no hospital or doctor's signature, the form will be deemed invalid. Chinese or English must be used to fill out the form. The exam must take place on or after October 1, 2024. If the student has been accepted to the university, please bring the original copy there.


 h.  report of a non-criminal record. A valid certificate of Non-Criminal Record issued by the local public security authority after October 1, 2024, must be submitted by the applicant. 


i.  Letters of recommendations. Two letters of recommendation from professors or associate professors must be submitted, both in Chinese or English. The applicant's objectives for studying in China, comprehensive abilities, and assessment of future growth are to be outlined in these letters. It should be issued after October 1, 2024. 


j.  Video of your personal statement (Please describe your educational and research background, as well as demonstrate your potential and ability in research). The length of the video ought to be around one minute. MP4 should be used as the video format, and the file size should not exceed 40 MB.).


 k.  a personal statement demonstrating that the applicant has not received funding from any other organizations or institutions (see Personal Statement.docx for format).


l.  Additional supporting materials (rewards, certificates, published papers, CV, etc.) 


Please keep in mind that uploaded supporting documents must be accurate, clear, and valid. When scanning the relevant documents, applicants are advised to use a professional device. The consequences of uploading materials that are not clear or can't be identified belong to the applicants. Step 3 will be completed for students who pass the primary review after they are notified. 


3.  Send the Fee According to the email, please pay the CNY 500 application and review fee on the CSU unified payment platform (WeChat, Alipay, and UnionPay are available) when applicants pass the primary review; If you don't finish the application and pay the fee within a week, you won't be able to continue. You are not required to pay the fee if you fail the initial review.


 4.  Academic Evaluation Candidates' academic backgrounds, aptitude for scientific research, and innovation potential will all be thoroughly evaluated by relevant schools during an academic review.


 5.  Final Analysis Students will be evaluated for final admission results based on the materials and application situation; please pay attention to the CSC online application system and the CSU online application system.
